Kane County Office of Emergency Management will lead this presentation on how you can make a difference in how well your family and your community prepare for the many hazards that surround us each day. Personal preparedness is the key in keeping your family, and your community, safe during emergencies and disasters. This can be achieved by maximizing awareness and encouraging participation in disaster preparedness activities to affect change at the community level. A FREE WEATHER RADIO WILL BE GIVEN AWAY AT THIS EVENT!
Our nation’s first responders do an incredible job keeping us safe, but they cannot do it along. We all must embrace our personal responsibility to be prepared and contribute to the safety and security of our communities.
