Register to for "What it Takes to be an Analog Astronaut" on April 14th at 1pm
Beth Mund worked at NASA as a public affairs officer for the Johnson Space Center, and later as a communication officer for the International Space Station. She then became an Analog Astronaut at the HI-SEAS research facility on a Mars simulation mission with a crew of 5 other incredible women. As a result of her experiences she became a fiercely passionate advocate for the people and their stories of science and space exploration. We are excited to have her share her stories with the Ella Johnson Memorial Public Library community in this ALL AGES presentation. We will learn about her Mars simulation mission and will even get to see her flight suit! (Beth will also be doing a workshop in the library for ages 11-adult on Thursday May 2nd. Please register separately for that event if you are interested)
Adult and Youth Services present this presentation in partnership with Hampshire Township in their building located at 170 Mill Avenue, Hampshire, IL 60140. Please register each person you will be bringing with you.
