October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Make a simple heart-shaped pillow that is made to fit under the armpit to provide relief while healing after a mastectomy. The kit will contain the template, filling, and fabric to make one pillow. If you are willing to donate additional time and supplies, please make more. Return your pillow(s) to us by October 31st.
The pillows will be donated to the cancer center at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
